Welcome to Joy God’s Way®
You’re exhausted. And not the “I need a nap” kind.
The kind that sits in your bones. The kind that makes your prayers feel hollow as your Bible gathers dust. The kind that has you saying “I’m fine” while something inside you whispers, I don’t even know what fine feels like anymore.
I see you. Because I’ve been you.
Joy God’s Way® exists for the woman of faith who has been strong long enough. The woman who has carried everyone else’s burdens while quietly losing her own joy. The woman who loves Jesus and still can’t figure out why she’s so tired, even while serving Him.
Here’s what makes this space different: I don’t just talk about exhaustion. I’ve spent over 35 years walking alongside women of faith, and through my own journey, I’ve identified something that changed everything.
The 7 Faces of Exhaustion™
Most of us say “I’m tired” like it’s one problem. It’s not. There are seven distinct types of exhaustion, and they each need a different remedy:
Physical | Emotional | Mental | Spiritual | Social
Compassion Fatigue | Purpose Exhaustion
Most women are carrying two or three of these at once. Depending on the season you’re in, they layer. They feed each other. And the reason nothing has worked is because you’ve been applying the wrong remedy to the wrong kind of tired.
The 7 Faces of Exhaustion™ framework is the foundation of everything we do here. It’s the lens through which we read Scripture, the structure behind our resources, and the reason women keep saying, “How did you know exactly what I was feeling?”
“Because naming it is the first step toward healing it.”

Meet Tina!
I’m Tina “T.L.” Coleman (did you notice the “TLC”?) — believer, founder, author, and yes, foodie. Having grown up in Los Angeles, I enjoy authentic Mexican food and other culturally rich cuisines. 😋 Oops, there I go again. I have my “squirrel” moments, and that’s part of meeting me. 🤣
As the daughter of an Emmy Award-winning animator/filmmaker father and a mother who held a high-ranking position with the U.S. Department of Defense, I grew up watching resilience in action.
For over 35 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people through thousands of conversations, from women’s ministry and stewardship ministry to corporate environments where troubleshooting client concerns became my specialty. Through it all, I’ve learned that most pain runs deeper than the presenting problem. What women really want is to be heard, encouraged, and reminded of hope.
The Lord has given me the gift of exhortation, and I’ve embraced it as my ministry and calling.
On the personal side, I know what it is to walk through loss, being laid off nine times, coming home to an empty apartment after just four months of marriage, and the exhausting work of rebuilding. In 1994, during my time in the wilderness, I answered an altar call to accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and I won’t turn back.
I know what it is to find joy again.
✝️ Proverbs 3:5–6 is my life verse:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
Today, I live in beautiful Florida with my husband, where I enjoy my church community, walks by the marina, live music, good books, and spa days.
And here, I get to walk with you as you rediscover joy, God’s way.
With blessings and joy,
